Shannon Donahue is an Atlanta-based illustrator and calligrapher who specializes in bringing romance novels to life — character art, book covers, author avatars, and custom maps for the stories readers can't put down.
Self-taught and genre-obsessed, Shannon's work sits at the intersection of reader and artist: every piece is built to capture what makes a couple, a world, or a trope irresistible to the people who live for happily-ever-afters. Her illustrations and design work have appeared in projects for New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Katee Robert (the Dark Olympus and multiple Kickstarters), Joanna Shupe (a hand-drawn map of Gilded Age New York), Sarah Maclean,and Isla Winter, along with merchandise and convention art seen across Romancelandia.
Beyond commission work, Shannon is a fixture in the romance community — co-hosting the Haunted Hearts Podcast, co-organizing the HEA ATL author signing event (coming soon to Atlanta), and volunteering with Dragon Con's charity programming. She brings that same insider fluency in genre, trope, and reader expectation to every piece she illustrates.
